Hillcrest Family Services, Dubuque, IA
Hillcrest operates five group homes, located on the main campus in Dubuque, offering specialized residential treatment programs for adolescents. Hillcrest also has a special education program on campus that serves students K-12 with severe behavior problems with a goal of preparing them for successful transition into the public school system. This fully accredited school program is available for those participants weighted 3.7 behaviorally disordered by their sending school district or area education agency, and for all participants in the Hillcrest residential programs. Satellite classrooms are also located in Maquoketa, Clinton, and Monticello, Iowa as part of the school outreach program.
