Graham Windham, Hastings on Hudson, NY

Graham Windham, the nation’s oldest nonsectarian child care agency, serving New York City’s neediest children and families, was founded in 1806. Total enrollment at Graham Windham is approximately 4,500 children. In 1967, the New York State legislature established the Greenburgh-Graham Union Free School District, better known as the Graham School, to serve the residential children at Graham Windham. The Graham School is a residential education and treatment center serving 165 residential students and 125 day students from the New York City metropolitan area. It is a fully accredited public school, offering comprehensive elementary, middle, and secondary school programs culminating in a high school diploma.
