Children’s Village and Family Service Agency, Tyler, TX

Children’s Village is a basic care residential children’s home for abused and neglected boys and girls, ages birth to 18. We hire married couples that live in residential homes with six to eight children. Cottage parents teach children social skills, life skills, job skills, and academic skills. Tutors are used for additional educational help. Children are also involved in enrichment activities, community activities, and sports. “Special Friends,” outside adults who do activities one-on-one with the children, model positive adult role models. Children attend local public schools and churches while in care.
